As a personal project, I sought to develop an educational platform called Little Gyani. The landscape of children's education was becoming increasingly digital, yet many platforms lacked engaging and comprehensive experiences that fostered a true love of learning. This presented an opportunity to create a platform that could deliver interactive, accessible, and enjoyable learning content for young children.
Task: My primary objective for the Little Gyani project was to enhance user engagement by creating interactive learning activities. Specifically, I aimed to develop three unique game-based modules that would increase user session duration by 15%. These modules focused on core subjects and were designed to foster a love for learning through gamified elements.
I spearheaded the development of three interactive, game-based learning modules for the Little Gyani project, focusing on core subjects. These modules incorporated gamified elements such as points, badges, and leaderboards to actively engage users. To ensure effectiveness, I implemented A/B testing on different game mechanics within each module to optimize for maximum engagement and a targeted 15% increase in user session duration.
As a result of this project, Little Gyani successfully delivered interactive educational content to young children, culminating in a beta platform with 25 unique learning modules. Early user feedback indicated a high engagement rate, with an average session duration of 18 minutes, suggesting the platform's ability to hold children's attention. Furthermore, a preliminary assessment of 15 beta users showed an average knowledge gain of 12% across key learning areas, demonstrating the platform's potential for effective knowledge transfer.
